Kapalua Bay Villa 21G4

The location was awesome, tight above the ocean and steps away from the beach. Only issue was we arrived at night and directions to the house, from the strret to the unit was not good. Had to call the property mgr to get clarifications. A map would have been useful.

We loved our time spent at the Kapalua bay. Would definitely recommend the unit and location. We were disappointed that when we made the reservation we were not informed of the VRBO fee upfront. That was the only thing that was a bit disappointing.

5 stars all the way around. Beach is 50 steps away. Views are amazing. Wind surfers right outside your window. Beautiful!

This was an outstanding experience. The property was exactly how the pictures and description look. The views are amazing. The area is very quite. Access to the beach is very easy and only a few steps down the hill. There is a great hiking path that takes you to some amazing views of the coast line. Many many great restaurants to choose from in the area. We will definitely be back and wish to stay at this location again.

This villa has amazing views of the ocean. We could even see whales from the patio! It's very close to resorts, restaurants and golf. It was really nice to have access to the beach and the trail right behind the villa. It also had beach chairs and coolers we could use. We enjoyed dinner at Merriman's and Cane and Canoe nearby. We had a delicious lunch at Burger Shack. And we rented equipment from Snorkel Bob's and had a blast snorkeling with the coral, fish and sea turtles. My only critique is the dryer needs to be serviced to remove sand from the filters. Everything about this rental was very enjoyable.

My wife and I stayed here for our last few days in Maui. The property was amazing and had great access to the beach. There were also some decent food places around. While they were mostly booked up for dinner, they still offered takeout, which was great considering the view from the property.

We had a wonderful time in our oceanfront rental starting with the excellent communications with Aloha Vacation Villas. The Villa itself was well maintained and included the little extras that are always nice in a condo rental (condiments, laundry detergent, extra paper towels/toilet paper, plenty of dishwashing detergent, etc...). In addition, coolers and beach chairs were also included. The welcome manual included tips for restaurants as well as info on how to use the TV remotes, washer and dryer, and info about the community. Vicky and her team were available for any questions and extremely easy to work with. We liked that the unit was close to the stairs for the beach and that we could see the waves breaking on the beach. Will definitely be back.

Aloha Vacation Villas made the process of finding our gorgeous Unit at Kapalua Bay Villas so easy. Loved our Unit—had everything one would need. The view was stunning—with the only “noise” being the crashing waves...relaxing and serene.

Me and my wife travel often. This is easily the best place we have ever stayed. Would highly recommend it!

Comes as advertised - clean, great view, excellent location (steps from the beach) and well equipped. The cove fronting the property is lots of fun with larger waves but can always find calmer coves only 10min walk if that’s preferred. Very much enjoyed the stay.

The unit was as beautiful as advertised. Views were amazing and access to beach and pools was really easy. Unit was very well stocked, including lots of kitchen necessities. Would happily stay here again!

The property is very nice and in a beautiful location

This is such a great place to spend your time on Maui. Kapalua is such a great location to make your home base while spending your time on West Maui and we have really enjoyed staying in the Bay Villas. 21G4 is in such a fabulous location with the steps leading down to the beach and Kapalua Coastal Trail right next to the condo. Overall it feels so spacious and the views....Just ridiculous to be cooking dinner and see the varying aspects of the Kapalua coastline. Everything was very clean, the property managers very responsive, and was packed with everything you need to enjoy your time. It had coolers, boogey boards, and beach chairs. While in the area we suggest 808 boards to rent stand up paddle boards, Star Noodle and Fleetwoods for dinner, Kimos for lunch and Kohola Brewing for beers. We highly recommend staying in this villa!!

The property is just as beautiful as the photos. In January however, the sun never gets to the lanai. The lanai is situated due north so you get very strong winds and rain that literally blew in through the windows. From the maps, I thought the unit might face slightly west but it doesn't -- no sunsets visible. The other units shade the lanai from both the morning and afternoon sun so, in addition to the wind, we could not use the lanai very much during the 2 weeks we were there. The beach is lovely to look at but not really a swimming beach; it is more for surfing (fun to watch). There are two other beaches each a mile away (one north and one south) which is a little far to carry all the beach stuff if you walk. The parking lots for those beaches are very small so it is difficult to park but with persistence you can do it. The pools are very nice, but again it was too windy in January to really enjoy them beyond a quick dip. The condo is really fully equipped with nice items. We had several maintenance issues but the management was very responsive in handling them. Great restaurants ($$$-$$$$) and a market nearby. The coastal shore walk which runs right by is 3.9 miles and very scenic. We will definitely go back to Kapalua and consider this condo again but at a different time of year.

This VBRO was absolutely fantastic. It checked all the boxes and more. If you want a view of the ocean front this is the property for you. Nothing between the rental and the ocean. It was very clean and nicely arranged. It is located in the Kapalua area and I would not stay anywhere but this area - not as much traffic, quiet and very beautiful. If you like to play golf the Kapalua Plantation course is a must. I would highly recommend this VRBO.

The view from this villa is simply unmatched. Every morning I was stunned by the view, no matter how long we had been there. Easy access to the beach, super close to the pool, and also right by the trail which is a must-do! The villa itself was beautiful inside- clean, nicely decorated and cozy. We made multiple dinners and lunches there through out the week and breakfast every morning and you have all the cookware you need (plus S&P). We loved every bit of the experience here. They provided tons of bath towels, 4 very large beach towels and laundry and dish detergent (as well as starter items such as dish soap, a roll of paper towels, a sponge, etc.). They also have 2 beach chairs for you to use and a cooler. We brought our own soft cooler but it's great to know they provide it! They have some tupperware there for leftovers and to store cut up fruit and veggies, which I really appreciated. Only hiccup we had was that we ordered groceries to be there when we arrived to start us up for the next morning and they never came. Not a huge deal, but we wanted to be able to make breakfast the next morning before heading out to the store ourselves. I can't recommend this villa and the location enough - we will be dreaming about this place for years until we make a trip back.

All I can say is WOW! A little difficult to find, but will never stay anywhere else. Always stayed at the Ritz Carlton in the past, but never again. Beautifully appointed, kitchen fully equipped. Very clean. Unbelievable view. What more can you ask for!

The Villa is situated in a quiet community with a beach and golf course nearby. There are multiple swimming pools within the enclave and restaurants walking distance from the condo. We enjoyed our time in Kapalua.

We loved this beautiful villa! Everything about it was perfect! The location is amazing and the villa itself is gorgeous! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. So handy having a washer/dryer to use. The A/C was much appreciated. Management was helpful and responded quickly to our requests and questions. Check-in and Check-out were super easy. Access to beach is close. Just 50 or so steps down. We enjoyed daily walks along the trails and saw many sea turtles. I would recommend this unit in a heartbeat and look forward to returning one day. Perfect sized 1 bedroom, 1 very large bath villa with a stunning view through walls of glass. Spotless clean, comfortable furnishings and outdoor deck with dining table and 2 chaise lounges. Well stocked kitchen, with cleaning supplies and basic spices. Plenty of dishes and cookware. Beach chairs and plenty of small coolers to use during your stay. 20 steps to the Coastal Trail, another 30 steps to the beach. Very quiet resort, peaceful, with all you need for a wonderful Maui stay.

Spacious condo on an awesome beach close to lots of activities and bars/restaurants. Book it!

We come to Maui and usually stay at really nice condos closer to a Kaanapali. On this trip we were getting married in Kapalua so wanted to stay in that area. Picked this unit based on the views and upgrades. It was more expensive than we normally spend but decided to splurge for the special occasion. Pros: - Location. You can’t beat the location of this unit. - Views. Amazing views from your living room, kitchen and lanai. - Upgrades. My family had rented 3 other condos and none were as nicely decorated as ours. - Pools. I was nervous I would miss the bigger pools where I normally stay. Discovered that I preferred Bay Villas small pools. They went up to 8 feet deep which is rare these days and were never crowded. Cons: AC - It was ok but not quite as cool as I prefer. The owner has it locked so you can’t turn it below 70. Fine for the day but I like to sleep with it on 68. Cell / mobile service - Nothing the owner can do to fix this but just be aware cell phone service in the unit And entire Bay Villas is poor. There was no service at all in the bedroom.

We spent a wonderful week in 21G4. Everything was perfect! Perfect beach get away! Hope to return in the future.

This is our 4th time staying at the same villa, the 2nd with our child and the experience has been as wonderful, if not better, than the previous before. The sweeping ocean-views and the sound of the crashing waves that greet you the minute you step in cannot be replicated anywhere else. We spent 3 days on the same trip, at a luxury resort in Wailea and that place felt extremely chaotic and hectic, compared to our stay at the Kapalua Villas. Despite it being the high season, we’ve always felt we had the beach and the pools to ourselves and can truly relax and unwind, like we ought to, on a beach vacation.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this condo and it never fails to be the most amazing vacation spot for us. The views are incredible, we felt that the beach was almost our own as it is never crowded and public access is somewhat limited. The condo has everything you need, has been recently upgraded, fully equipped kitchen and very spacious bathroom, comfortable bed and roomy living space. The setting is extremely peaceful and we come away completely refreshed and ready to book again next year.

Location, Location, Location, Cant say enough about the location.!! Home is very nice with million dollar views. central to all POi. May consider upgrading furniture, couch very uncomfortable.

Everyone who has been to Maui can boast of the beauty of this island but we hit the jackpot when we booked at the Kapalua Bay Villa's. The view. The view. The view! The location of this villa, for us, was perfect. Walk out on the patio and just a short set of stairs down to the beach. The Villa was incredible - I don't know who designed that kitchen corner window but standing there to see the majesty of nature was incredible - not that we were doing that many dishes, but hey, nobody minds doing them with that view. On our last day there, there was were bouts of rain but we counted 10 different rainbows! Stunning! The overall condition of our Villa was great and very spacious. It was easy to walk/explore the Kapalua area and it was the relaxed, quiet location that we wanted but with a quick drive to Lahaina and anywhere else you wanted to go. My husband is a golfer and was able to do the Kapalua golf package - which he loved. We will be coming back without question.

Everything we had hoped for!!! We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Maui!

Awesome, all the comforts of home+. Very tranquil. The serene ocean view of the nights dissolving into day offered a superb morning of spiritual meditation to commune with God in this heavenly realm. Aloha!

Wonderful Condo - so well appointed - everything you need is at your fingertips - kitchen supplies, beach chairs, beach, tennis, hiking trails, walk to dinner.....

It was good for the most part a little confusing with the televisions and cable. There were wrong directions left in the condo that made me have to call to figure out how to get on-line and then turn the television on.

Unobstructed views for as far as your eyes can see, breathtaking sounds of waves and spouting fountains of whales from your personal lanai. This is what we experienced everyday we had the pleasure to stay.

We stayed for a week and everything went perfectly. Location is wonderful with terrace walking out to grassed area overlooking the ocean - about 20 stairs down to the beach. From the terrace you could watch the surfers and numerous beach weddings. Villa was in very good condition, very clean and well equipped. Complex is quite old but beautifully maintained. The only "complaints" would be - 4pm is very late - the agent and cleaning company should be able to improve on this (in our case it did not impact us as we only arrived after 5pm but if you arrive early there is no "front-desk" where you can leave luggage, etc). Our terrace was infested with ants which the agent was actively addressing so no real complaint except it seemed to be the only terrace with this issue. The bedding and pillows were definitely 4* not 5* quality. Finally I have never stayed in a holiday apartment which did not provide a first day supply of coffee and sugar - again we were prepared but just a surprise. If you wish to eat at any of the resorts many restaurants be aware that you need to book a couple of them (beach front in particular) well in advance - Merriman in particular I would book before you leave home - easy to do as all accept online bookings. The resort shuttle works well to get you to/from all venues around the very large resort complex - be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes on busy evenings.

We were looking for a quiet place to rejuvenate, ocean views and quick access to beach without driving. Celebrated a 50th Birthay, an anniversary as well, so dining out was a highlight of each day.

Loved this location & the villa. The view & grounds were all we desired & more.

A 5 night stay for rest and rejuvenation - and everything was perfect.

The Bay Villas are fabulous. We were extremely happy with the quality of the fixtures and accessories in the apartment. The shuttle bus is an excellent service and our apartment just above the beach was great for a quick dip however I do wish that they had had boogie boards as the rocks at low tide and the uneven drop offs with the surf made it impossible to dive under the waves.

Every thing great other than no basic kitchen supplies-ie salt & pepper etc.
