I've been to Maui many times. This was my first time bringing my kiddos, as I wanted to share my love for the island. We had the vacation of a lifetime. Our place was part of this. It was the perfect size for our family, excellent location, private, just wonderful. We had everything we needed to cook, shower, etc. We can't wait to come back...I'm already planning for 2025 Christmas!!

Lovely location, and very clean and updated property. Ground floor unit is very nice , like having your own lawn, with gray ocean views from all rooms and patios. Newly renovated throughout. Very much enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Close to the property pool and the way walk to the beach.

We were absolutely amazed but the unit, the location, decor and views were spectacular. Property managers were very attentive to our needs. Absolutely loved the secluded beach, we are already talking about returning and this unit will definitely be our first choice.

We were thrilled with the condo! Beautiful views, quiet location, close to the pool and grills, and easy park to your front door. Four outdoor areas to pick from when you want to enjoy the scenery. And we especially liked having king sized beds in the 2 bedrooms. We were so happy with our decision to stay here. Beauty all around us and total comfort side this wonderful condo. Thank you for a fabulous week in Maui and hope to return one day again for another stay!

Everything was perfect at this rental. So much beauty all around us and views from pretty much all of the condo. We loved having coffee on the porch and watching the beautiful ocean. The house was immaculate and in perfect shape, would love to come back here and stay again.

Our family of 4 (kids 12,9) enjoyed staying here. We loved having beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys and a cooler provided for our stay. Short walk to the beach and just a five minute drive to great snorkeling beaches. 10-15 minutes to Safeway and shopping. The house has everything you need and was very clean. Very quiet location. We also did grocery pickup through the guest services at Safeway and our groceries were waiting for us when we arrived. Thank you.

I have nothing at all I can complain about. This was the perfect stay. Place was super clean, seems to be recently renovated, beds were very comfortable, great decor, and beautiful views. Will go out of my way next trip to book here again!

Great location in West Maui. Quiet area but close enough to stores and restaurants when you want more action. The villa was very well equipped and has beautiful views from every room. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The landscaping in the Bay Villas community was breathtaking. The house is nicely furnished and in particular we enjoyed the Hawaiian art throughout the house. The kitchen was highly functional and well equipped. The windows in the house are designed to given great ventilation. We rarely used the A/C, but rather opened up all the windows to enjoy the natural breeze. We appreciated the concierge service that came with the rental that helped us arrange local activities.

Let me start off with the kitchen, we never cook in rental units because, the kitchens are never well equipped. Not the case here, it has everything you will need and more. We even did a stir fry in the Wok one night. Beds are super comfy, bathrooms are great, new washer and dryer, A/C’s in every room. Views to die for. Location is amazing. Really nice BBQ at the pool. Highly recommend.

Whales were readily visible from the lanai, and MAN was it amazing!!! The house is perfectly decorated and so clean! The kitchen had everything we needed! Would definitely stay here again!!!

It's actually a skill to select a great place from an internet listing, VRBO or otherwise, matching descriptions with photos, combing through reviews, checking prices, feeling constantly that there's always at least a small risk. We knew from a prior Maui trip that we wanted to stay in Kapalua and the place we rented via VRBO looked more than promising. Then we arrived--"Oh My." Can it be? Did we really hit the jackpot? Yes, actually, we did. The perfect ground floor condo overlooking an at least 270 degree ocean view with pool just 200 steps away, the beach about a quarter mile walk away. The living room was a great place to watch the few TV shows that were able to somehow distract us (a key NFL game). The kitchen presented us with fabulous granite counters, modern appliances with plenty of cabinet space, and utensils and implements right down to the martini shaker. Two matching, near-identical master suites led to a sense of equality for two adult couples, great friends before the trip, better friends even after. And morning coffee on the back patio with the ocean and the red-crested cardinals and other songbirds there to greet us rapidly became a ritual. We never could decide if mornings or evenings in those chaise lounges and chairs was the better part of the day. Let's call it a tie. We promised to research the massive size of the master bathrooms, likely some Hawaiian or Japanese architectural custom. We need to still do that. We ended up walking most days the short 1 to 1.5 miles to Honolua Market for coffee, groceries, and beverages we needed. That too became a great daily trip. Finally, we actually sat in what we called our "back yard" with libations near the end of our stay to ask, "What would you improve about this place?" We struggled. Super fast internet modem/router but a bit local (hard to pick up a signal in deep recesses of bedrooms). Maybe a plastic-tipped spatula to sauté onions without scraping the non-stick sauce pans? Really, we struggled

By far the highlight of our holiday, the property and location were spectacular. Check in process was seamless, everything from the beds to the furniture and appliances were in great condition and well cared for.

Spotless and even more beautiful in person! Landscaping around the unit was stunning and the view was incredible from every room. We knew we wanted to stay at Kapalua Bay Villas and agonized over the selection - having spent 10 days here we made an excellent choice. Hands down best location on property in my opinion. Short trek down to Oneloa Beach where you could come and go throughout the day, and adjacent to the pool BBQ for grilling and delivering hot to the kitchen. Furniture was comfortable and kitchen well appointed. There were plenty of trash bags, dish & laundry soap, basic spices, coffee filters, TP and paper towels for the duration of our stay. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Property manager was fantastic. Property was amazing. Great time. Tennis courts were an added plus.

This is my favorite place I’ve ever stated in the many years I’ve spent traveling to Hawaii. I can’t wait to come back! It is exactly like the photos. We loved staying in Kapalua. The access to beach and pools was fantastic.

We requested a rollaway but it was hardly necessary because the pullout sofabed was so comfortable. Every detail of the inside was spectacular and the three different patios let us work, read, and play without being on top of each other. The beach below is almost private; we never saw more than a handful of others on it while we relaxed and body surfed. And we really enjoyed walking the trail south toward other beaches and resorts. There\'s a fun jumping rock and protected bay for snorkeling a ten minute walk away. You\'ll be steps from a great pool and BBQ area. A wonderful place in every way!

This villa has it all, tastefully and fully remodeled, new gig internet for zoom and streaming, great ocean views and you can walk to everything. The beds are so comfy we slept hours longer than at home. We felt like we were safe with the enforced COVID rules and the resulting open beaches were wonderful. Definitely a must to visit.

The Villa is in a great location, the kitchen is clean and well stocked, and the views were fantastic! We could watch the whales from the balconies! The only drawback was the bed... The bed creaked with every movement and the mattress was extremely uncomfortable. We did not sleep very well... at all... Unless the bed was changed, we would not stay at this villa again. Despite the lack of rest, we still had a great time in a great location.

Overall, the condo was beautiful and clean. The bedroom is amazing!!! The view in the picture is spot-on. The location was fine for our purposes--sometimes the main highway from Kahului to Lahaina can be annoying to travel on (only main route from one side of the island to the other) but Kapalua\'s close proximity to downtown Lahaina was perfect. The Kapalua resort area is beautiful. Very safe, well-manicured gardens, its just beautiful. We loved the gated community. The spa there is also very nice! A couple issues with the condo though--there was an ant problem in the upstairs bathroom. Teeny, tiny ants EVERYWHERE. They got in thru the windows and were all over the bathroom counter and in the shower (there are windows in the shower). Since they're harmless we'd just smash them with a tissue and carry on but it was kind of annoying. One night, we also experienced a ginormous, flying cockroach in the bedroom! It was pretty terrifying. We beat it to death with a broom but it was HUGE. I know cockroaches are prevalent in HI so it wasn't anything to complain about...not sure how it got in the condo but it was the only one we saw, thankfully! Also, the washer and dryer are TERRIBLE. Washer barely washes, dryer doesn't dry. I highly recommend they replace those items. Otherwise, everything else was comfortable and beautiful and we would stay there again!

The panoramic views are breathtaking! We saw numerous whales every day. The updated kitchen is beautiful, and we liked the level entry for unloading groceries. Our only suggestion is to replace the wicker chairs in the bedroom. That is where the best view is, and they're just not comfortable for long periods of time. We recommend nice easy chairs with ottomans, or good quality recliners. Other than that, we wouldn't change a thing, and we will definitely be back!

The kitchen was very nice with just the basic necessities. A pitcher would have nice. The bathroom has an interesting layout but the Roman tub/shower was great. The only deck off the bedroom would be more comfortable with lounge chairs and a small table instead of the large table and chairs more suited for dinning. Rob and other staff members were available with a small beach cooler and for opening the large sliding door for us. Thank you it made a difference in the air flow and the ocean sounds.
